QtRenderAreaOrbiter example

QtRenderAreaOrbiter - This example shows how to use a RenderAreaOrbiter to render a scene with camera manipulation in orbiting mode.

Compared to the RenderAreaExaminer, the RenderAreaOrbiter is modeless, it allows to select a part of the scene without having to explicitly use the escape key. The selected part is highlighted with an SoHaloHighlightRenderAction.
