LOW

public static final SoVolumeRenderingQuality.GradientQualities LOW

Use the forward difference technique to compute the gradient. This is a fast technique but it gives a lower quality gradient.

MEDIUM

public static final SoVolumeRenderingQuality.GradientQualities MEDIUM

Use the central difference technique to compute the gradient. This is a compromise between quality and speed.

HIGH

public static final SoVolumeRenderingQuality.GradientQualities HIGH

Use a Sobel filter to compute the gradient. This gives hiqh quality gradients at the expense of speed.
