RemarksThis nodekit class is used to create camera nodes that have a local transformation. OIV.Inventor.Nodekits.SoCameraKit adds two public parts to the basic nodekit: transform and camera .
The camera part is created by default as an OIV.Inventor.Nodes.SoPerspectiveCamera node, but may later be changed to any subclass of OIV.Inventor.Nodes.SoCamera.
You can move the camera relative to the rest of the scene by creating and editing the transform part.
OIV.Inventor.Nodekits.SoCameraKit also adds a private part, transformGroup , which is of type OIV.Inventor.Nodes.SoTransformSeparator. The kit uses this part to contain the effect of transform to move only the camera , while allowing the camera to affect the rest of the scene.
OIV.Inventor.Nodekits.SoCameraKit is derived from OIV.Inventor.Nodekits.SoBaseKit and thus also includes a callbackList part for adding callback nodes.
NOTES:
By default the viewer will not find the camera inside the OIV.Inventor.Nodekits.SoCameraKit. To allow the viewer to find this camera the application must explicitly allow searching inside nodekits by calling the OIV.Inventor.Nodekits.SoBaseKit static method setSearchingChildren. If the viewer does not find a camera in the scene graph it will create one automatically and attach to the created one.
If the viewer does find the camera inside the OIV.Inventor.Nodekits.SoCameraKit, the viewer will not call its viewAll() method automatically. The application must make this call.
PARTS
(OIV.Inventor.Nodes.SoTransform) transform A transform that positions and orients the camera relative to the rest of the scene. Private parts keep the effect of the transform part localized. This part is NULL by default, but may be set to any subclass of OIV.Inventor.Nodes.SoTransform
(OIV.Inventor.Nodes.SoCamera) camera The camera node for this nodekit. The camera part is created by default as an OIV.Inventor.Nodes.SoPerspectiveCamera node, but may later be changed to any subclass of OIV.Inventor.Nodes.SoCamera. (e.g., OIV.Inventor.Nodes.SoPerspectiveCamera, OIV.Inventor.Nodes.SoOrthographicCamera).
